The following are a list of debating topics which can
be used by teachers in their school classrooms. Debating is a good way
for more than one student to be involved with research and discussion
about an issue that is either in the news or important to the students.
These issues, when debated allow students to view both sides of the
topic which gives them a better insight into the issue.
I would like to make a special thank you,
to all the people who have emailed different topics to youth debating
in Victoria website. I would also like to thank the Debating
Association of Victoria, the Queensland Debating Association and any other
person who helped with thinking up the following debating
topics.
